I've been boating on the Tennessee River and surrounding lakes for almost 15 years. I spent more than a decade captaining a 20-ft open bow before moving up to my current 30-ft cruiser.
Over the years I realized many women love boating but aren't always taught the skills that help them feel confident helping on the boat.
That's why I created Boating with Barbie- to help women gain the knowledge and confidence to become active members of the crew.
Whether you're boating with your partner, friends, or family, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, capable and confident on the water.
First Mate Academy- From Passenger to First Mate is a beginner-friendly training program designed to help women gain confidence and practical boating knowledge. Inside my course you'll learn the essential skills every first mate should know, including:
